The decoration and the function of the interiors are also largely determined by the lighting. In fact it is the integral part of the scheme of interior decoration.

The types of lighting that serve to accentuate the interiors can be categorised into three different types and they are general lighting, accent lighting and task lighting. The first type provides a general kind of illumination to the interiors. The accent lighting can be referred to that particular kind of lighting which is used to highlight your special object or your favorite possesssions. The task lighting can be defined as those interior lighting which are particularly used for any particular task such as reading, painting and the like. The interior lighting design thus needs careful attention on your part and should be such that the warmth of the house is reflected by the same.
